Si è tenuta domenica sera la cerimonia degli MTV Movie Awards, ancora una volta è Johnny Depp a fare incetta di premi, come avviene ormai ogni anno: a lui due riconoscimenti, sia per Pirati dei Caraibi che per Sweeney Todd:
Miglior Performance Comica: Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End
Miglior Cattivo: Johnny Depp in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
Johnny Depp took best comedic performance honors for his turn as Captain Jack in Pirates of the Caribbean and won best villain for Sweeney Todd.
