Tim Burton anticiperà in america la sua versione cinematografica del musical di Stephen Sondheim in una serata il 21 dicembre 2007, mentre uscirà ufficialmente l´11 gennaio 2008 sempre in America. Sweeney Todd è una co-produzione tra DreamWorks e Warner Bros., e marca la sesta collaborazione tra Burton e Depp. Le riprese sono iniziate il 5 Febbraio 2007.

Inserito il banner del sito per eventuali affiliazioni nell´apposita sezione Site Banners! Aggiunta la sinossi del film in The Plot e aggiornate le biografie degli attori principali in entrambe le lingue, inglese e italiano!!! Sono presenti in Gallery le uniche foto disponibili ora, ovvero quella della locandina e alcune on the set di Johnny Depp nei momenti di pausa!!
Tim Burton porterà per il 5 settembre al Festival di Venezia, durante il Tim Burton Day dove gli verrà consegnato il Leone d´Oro alla carriera e l´organizzazione di "proiezioni a sorpresa", un´ anticipazione (speriamo) di Sweeney Todd!

Tim Burton´s eagerly anticipated screen version of Stephen Sondheim´s classic 1979 musical Sweeney Todd will go in to a limited domestic release on December 21st, 2007, and open in wide release in the U.S. on January 11th, 2008. Sweeney Todd, a co-production between DreamWorks and Warner Bros., marks the 6th collaboration between the Johnny Depp - who stars in the title role - and Burton. Production began on February 5th, 2007.

Tim Burton on 5 September in his Tim Burton Day at the Venice Movie FestiVal is going to receive the Gold Lion for the Career and maybe tell us something about Sweeney Todd!
